  1. Wash and slice yams to your liking (the thinner you slice the less time you will need to bake them).
  2. Put yams in a baking dish, add sweetener (optional), and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Bake them for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
  4. Add butter when they’re pipin’ hot.
Recipe Notes
  • Often times yams are sweet enough just by themselves, so you can omit the sweetener, or use apple chunks, raisins, figs or dates.
  • Easy, simple, and very rewarding!
