Please share on your social network. 🙂 Facebook Google+ Twitter Reddit LinkedIn Pinterest Grain-free Chocolate Chip Cookies Print Recipe CourseDessert Prep Time 30 minutes Cook Time 10 minutes Prep Time 30 minutes Cook Time 10 minutes Grain-free Chocolate Chip Cookies Print Recipe CourseDessert Prep Time 30 minutes Cook Time 10 minutes Prep Time 30 minutes Cook Time 10 minutes Ingredients 1-1/4 Cups Canned Chickpeas (well rinsed & patted dry with a paper towel) 2 tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Cup Nut Butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower) +2 tbsp. 1/4 Cup Honey (I used maple syrup and they were awesome!) 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 Pinch Salt 1/2 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Servings: Instructions Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients except for the chocolate chips in a food processor until smooth ( I used my blender and it worked out OK). Make sure you scrape the sides and the top to get all the chunks of chickpeas blended. Put in the chocolate chips and stir if you can. The mixture will be very thick and sticky. With wet hands, form 1-1/2 inch balls. Place on a piece of parchment paper. If you want them to look like normal cookies, press them down slightly. Bake about 10 minutes. The dough balls will still be very soft when you take them out of the oven. They will not set like normal cookies. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
