This holiday season may you find yourself surrounded by good food, great company (within the limits of what your city says is appropriate :-D) and an appreciation for all you have.

Truth be told getting into the right mentality starts NOW… not after the holidays.

And while I prefer to thrive during the holidays…sometimes it does feel like survival doesn’t it?

HOLIDAY EMOTIONAL EATING TIP #1:

During the week, eat foods you ENJOY, not foods you think you “should” be eating to maintain your weight or that will keep calories down.

When we deprive all week, it sets up all those holiday gatherings to feel like the “it’s time to let loose and give in” and that’s when we overdo it and pay the price in our waistlines and for sure energy.

I know for me I care more about the company and great conversation then I do about the food. When I make that my focus I never seem to overeat.
